We know. We know when your suffering. But what can we do? Y’all ain’t 6yrs old anymore. We can’t just pick you up and give you a cuddle and tell you a poop joke. You’re an adult now. Your personality is different. We barely know you. We love you more than we will ever have words for. When we think about you, we still smile and remember those times cuddled on the couch watching an inappropriate movie for your age. We remember the drives together, we remember the scraped knees and the sick nights. We remember your first day of school and we remember cooking for you. We still love you. Wtf, just... lets go to the woods, camp a few days amybe do 1 or 2 summits, gather food, chop wood and make a fire usually does the trick. Never talk serious shit in a bedroom, talk about it around a fire.. in the nowhere. how can people think getting someone out of a negative mindset would work without chanigning the environment he/she got the mindset in...especially in those seferoom cozy places people live nowadays. You cant empower someone by taking away the mans ot empower.

On the other hand, girls, and later women always talk about emotions, both theirs and those of other people, so they have that skill and are therefore much better at negotiating psychology in a conversation. And even if men care about something a lot (and we very often do), we won't show it, because that's how we were taught to behave. Then others think we're cold or don't care, all the while it's killing us inside, but we put on a smile and go on forward, because that's how a real man would behave. Please let your kids be expressive and emotional.

I apologise in advance if this doesn't make a lot of sense, but if someone is reaching out to you and you're in a bad place in your mind, please accept help. Even if help is not offered, please seek it. I know very well that it's difficult to be proactive and seek attention for depression because you feel that it's something that you can fight yourself, and sometimes some people can, but it when it gets to the point of suicidal ideation it's a positive cycle where you'll end up feeding yourself more and more ideational thoughts. You won't always find the answers in the help you receive because at the end of the day it'll be your decision as to the next steps in your life, but to just have someone listen to your troubles sometimes helps in organising your thoughts. Don't be afraid to share your burden with someone who is willing to listen to you.
