Sadly this is not 100% true.. Sometimes they have a breakdown and even suicide attempt, and people still see them as attention seeker....

It's the same with every "invisible" illness. Before and after brain surgery I had 2 years chronic headache. Before, even my doctor thought I was pretending. 3 month after the surgery most people went back to normal and thought I was just using headaches as an excuse. And even though, I exactly know that feel, I sometimes catch myself forgetting some of my friends are chronically ill. And that much of their bad mood has a good reason.

yeah except they might just say you're "overreacting" don't hold yourself back, well the crying, screaming & breaking shit. just get that out of your system, you need that. don't harm yourself tho if you can, do that other 3 stuff. if they haven't realized how serious it is from a breakdown, they won't from selfharm either, so do yourself a favor & get it out other ways ^
